Liposuction on the legs — we give you beautiful legs.
The aim of every liposuction in the thigh area is slimmer legs that fit harmoniously into the whole. Here in particular there is a positive side effect: although liposuction is fundamentally not a treatment for cellulite, some patients report that it has visibly receded.

Liposuction and HD body contouring
Thighs
Some fat deposits stay — no matter how hard you train.
Our body stores fat for various reasons — genetics, hormones and lifestyle. Some fat deposits are particularly stubborn and cannot be reduced even by intensive training and strict diets.
This is where liposuction comes in: we remove troublesome fat deposits on your thighs in a targeted way and improve your appearance for good.
„Our liposuction removes your fat cells permanently. The famous yo-yo effect that undoes most diets therefore does not happen.“

On the day of the procedure you are received by our experienced ward team. The procedure takes place in one of our three state-of-the-art operating theatres. Dr Saalabian visits you before the start and marks the regions to be treated — that takes about 10 minutes, and during it you go through the process once more. Most patients find that reassuring.

Frequently asked questions about liposuction
Which areas of the body are suitable for liposuction?
Almost any area of the body can be treated. Particularly popular are the abdomen, legs, hips, back, flanks, neck/double chin, arms and chest.
Is liposuction painful?
The treatment itself is pain-free thanks to twilight sedation or local anaesthetic. After the operation a feeling similar to muscle ache can occur, which subsides after a few days.
Are there scars after liposuction?
The entry points are only a few millimetres in size and are placed inconspicuously. Once healed they are barely visible.
Can the fat form again in other places after the operation?
No, the fat cells that have been removed are permanently gone. The remaining fat cells can grow, however, if you put on a lot of weight.
What kind of anaesthesia is used?
Most liposuctions are carried out under twilight sedation, a gentle form of anaesthesia. With smaller procedures a local anaesthetic is also possible.
What is meant by liposuction?
In medical terminology liposuction is known as lipoplasty. It is the most frequently performed treatment in aesthetic surgery and involves the removal of fat cells directly beneath the skin by our specialists in plastic surgery. Although the main purpose of liposuction is to contour and model your body, it is no substitute for losing weight. Depending on your individual situation and your wishes we use various techniques, such as water-jet assisted (BodyJet), ultrasound-assisted (VASER), vibration-based (PAL), radiofrequency-assisted (Renuvion) and laser-assisted (Smart) liposuction.
For stubborn fat deposits — not for losing weight.
Liposuction is not there to reduce your overall body weight. For general weight reduction we continue to recommend sport and a balanced diet. Slim patients in particular, who have local accumulations of fat despite intensive effort and a healthy diet, are ideally suited. If you have stubborn fat deposits that cannot be reduced by conventional methods, our liposuction can fulfil your wishes straightforwardly, quickly and gently.
