Thigh lift — show your legs with pride again.
Whether through the natural loss of skin elasticity or as a result of successful weight loss: when the skin on the inner thighs slackens, no amount of squats in the world will help. A professional thigh lift with Dr Saalabian corrects excess tissue precisely, prevents uncomfortable chafing and gives you back the freedom to show your legs with pride again.
Freedom for your legs is a question of confidence — not just of clothing.
For many people slim, firm legs are the epitome of vitality. At the Kuzbari Centre we offer more than merely removing skin: by combining a precise thigh lift with state-of-the-art liposuction we model the whole silhouette of the leg harmoniously.

When the skin loses its firmness.
The skin on the inner thighs in particular is especially thin and sensitive. With increasing age, after substantial weight loss or because of a genetic weakness of the connective tissue, the tissue here often loses a great deal of elasticity. The consequence: the skin hangs, forms folds or chafes uncomfortably when walking.
Our aim is the harmonious modelling of the whole leg silhouette. By combining a thigh lift with modern liposuction we achieve results that look not only firmer but visibly more defined and more youthful.
The different techniques of the thigh lift
Every leg is different — the distribution of fat, the quality of the skin and the degree of slackening vary considerably. We rely on tailor-made incision techniques with the smallest possible scarring.
-
A “small” thigh lift
A crescentic lift — ideal when the excess skin is limited to the uppermost third of the inner side. The crescent-shaped incision is placed in the groin crease, and the skin is drawn upwards and tightened. The scar lies hidden in the natural fold and is barely visible even in a small swimsuit.
-
A classic vertical lift
With pronounced slackening reaching down to the knee (frequently after massive weight loss), a vertical incision on the inner side of the thigh is added to the one in the groin. That allows the tissue to be tightened both upwards and in width — for maximum tightening and a clear reduction in circumference.
-
A 360° combined lift
A lipo thigh lift — the slackening is often combined with stubborn fat deposits. First we treat the inner side, the outer side (saddlebags) and the knee region with liposuction, then we tighten the skin. That way it can be draped with less tension — and the result is an athletically shaped leg without troublesome dents.
„Only the liposuction beforehand allows the skin to be draped more precisely and with less tension. The result is an athletically shaped leg without troublesome dents.“
How body contouring works
From the first consultation, through the operation, to the final check, we accompany you personally.
-
01
Consultation
The no-obligation consultation appointment lasts 30 – 60 minutes and costs €90. We get to know each other, listen to you and answer all your questions. We examine your problem areas, tell you what is genuinely possible and explain the advantages as well as the disadvantages of body contouring. You see before-and-after photos and learn how your procedure can work in detail.
-
02
Operation
On the day of surgery you are carefully prepared and meet your whole treatment team. Then follow photo documentation of the treatment region, the conversation and marking with your surgeon, and the preparation in your own room. The procedure takes place in our state-of-the-art operating theatres under general anaesthetic. We use tissue-sparing techniques and multi-layered sutures, to minimise the tension on the scar.
-
03
Recovery
After the procedure the healing phase begins — our team accompanies you step by step. Mild pain, swelling and bruising are normal, and you wear compression garments for several weeks. Light everyday activities are possible after a few days, and you can leave the centre on the day of the operation. At the check-up after a week we assess the course of healing and the result. Every body heals in its own way.

Frequently asked questions about the thigh lift
Do the scars stay visible?
Scars are unavoidable with a lift. But we place them as inconspicuously as possible (in the groin crease / on the inner side). Over time they fade to fine, pale lines.
Is the operation painful?
Most patients report a feeling of tightness and a pain similar to muscle ache. We adjust your medication so that you feel comfortable.
When can I do sport again?
Gentle walking is desirable from the first day. Sports that put strain on the legs (running, weight training, cycling) are possible again after about 6 to 8 weeks.
Does the lift help against cellulite?
Yes, partly. The pull on the skin makes its appearance smoother. Cellulite can never be entirely “operated away”, but it is often clearly reduced.
How long does the result last?
The result is permanent. Nevertheless the body is subject to the natural ageing process. A healthy lifestyle extends the effect considerably.
Can I combine the operation with a buttock lift?
Yes, that often makes sense when the whole tissue of the lower half of the body has slackened (a lower body lift).
When will I be presentable again?
After about 10 to 14 days you can usually go about light everyday activities again.
Are there risks such as impaired wound healing?
On the legs the mechanical strain on the scars is high. We minimise risks through special suturing techniques and precise rules of conduct after the operation.
Do I have to wear special garments after the operation?
Yes, compression trousers for a few weeks are essential, to avoid swelling and help the skin settle.
When can I go to the sauna or the solarium again?
You should avoid the sauna and direct sun on the scars for at least 3 months.
Can the skin sag again after the operation?
If your weight stays stable, the lift is very lasting. Massive fluctuations in weight could, however, stretch the skin again.
Are drains necessary?
In some cases we use drains for 24 hours, to drain wound fluid. They are usually removed painlessly before discharge.
What does the procedure cost?
The cost starts at about €8,000 and depends on the technique and on any additional liposuction.
