Abdominoplasty — your path to a perfect midsection.
Whether after a pregnancy, substantial weight loss or through the natural ageing of the skin: when excess tissue remains on the abdomen, no amount of training in the world will help. A professional abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with Dr Saalabian corrects not only the silhouette but also restores the functional stability of your midsection.
Skin is an elastic concept — but at some point it loses its firmness.
At the Kuzbari Centre we consider the body as a whole. With us an abdominoplasty is more than just removing skin — we combine state-of-the-art liposuction with highly precise lifting surgery, in order not only to reduce volume but to redefine contours.

Liposuction meets precision surgery.
At the Kuzbari Centre we consider the body as a whole. A liposuction can work wonders in removing stubborn deposits — but for a perfect result the nature of the skin is decisive. When the tissue has lost elasticity, tightening the skin is the decisive step towards the figure you want.
- Maximum definition: we frequently combine the lift with a 360° liposuction, to model the waist.
- Muscular correction: we close a diastasis recti (separated abdominal muscles) for a lastingly flat, stable abdomen.
- Invisible precision: the incision is placed so low that the fine scar later disappears under underwear or a bikini.
The different techniques of abdominal lifting
Not every case of slackening is the same. At the Kuzbari Centre we rely on individualised surgical concepts instead of standard incisions.
-
Mini abdominoplasty
A partial abdominoplasty — ideal for essentially slim patients with a small “apron” of skin on the lower abdomen. Only a narrow strip of skin above the pubic bone is removed and the navel stays in its position. The scar is short (similar to a caesarean section) and the downtime minimal.
-
Classic abdominoplasty
A full abdominoplasty — the most common technique with moderate to pronounced slackening. A horizontal incision above the pubic hair, the skin is released as far as the costal arch and the navel repositioned. A diastasis recti is corrected with an internal corset suture.
-
High-definition 360° lift
A lipoabdominoplasty — as specialists in liposuction we combine both worlds. Before the lift we treat the flanks, upper abdomen and back with liposuction. Only then can the skin be moved optimally — and the result is a three-dimensionally modelled, athletic waist.
„With us an abdominoplasty is more than removing skin. We combine state-of-the-art surgery with aesthetic standards — for a flat, stable midsection.“
How body contouring works
From the first consultation, through the operation, to the final check, we accompany you personally.
-
01
Consultation
The no-obligation consultation appointment lasts 30 – 60 minutes and costs €90. We get to know each other, listen to you and answer all your questions. We examine your problem areas, tell you what is genuinely possible and explain the advantages as well as the disadvantages of body contouring. You see before-and-after photos and learn how your procedure can work in detail.
-
02
Operation
On the day of surgery you are carefully prepared and meet your whole treatment team. Then follow photo documentation of the treatment region, the conversation and marking with your surgeon, and the preparation in your own room. The procedure takes place in our state-of-the-art operating theatres under general anaesthetic. We use tissue-sparing techniques and multi-layered sutures, to minimise the tension on the scar.
-
03
Recovery
After the procedure the healing phase begins — our team accompanies you step by step. Mild pain, swelling and bruising are normal, and you wear compression garments for several weeks. Light everyday activities are possible after a few days, and you can leave the centre on the day of the operation. At the check-up after a week we assess the course of healing and the result. Every body heals in its own way.

Frequently asked questions about abdominoplasty
Is an abdominoplasty painful?
Thanks to modern anaesthesia and pain management the procedure is well tolerated. Most patients describe the pain in the first few days as being like a very severe muscle ache.
When can I go back to work?
For office work you should allow about 10 to 14 days. Physically demanding jobs require a longer break of about 3 to 4 weeks.
When is the final result visible?
A first effect is visible immediately. The final shape, however, only shows after 6 to 12 months, once all the swelling has subsided and the scar has matured.
Does the navel stay “real”?
Yes. The navel remains your own. It is simply released from the excess skin and sewn precisely back into the new, tightened skin.
How long is the scar?
That depends on the amount of excess skin. With a classic lift it runs from hip bone to hip bone, but is placed so low that it is covered by underwear.
Can I combine the lift with a liposuction?
Yes, that is in fact our standard approach (“360°”), in order to shape the transitions to the flanks harmoniously.
What happens with a diastasis recti?
The muscles are fixed with a permanent suture. That not only flattens the abdomen visually but often also improves existing back pain, through a more stable midsection.
When may I do sport again?
Gentle movement (walking) matters straight away. Intensive training or abdominal exercises should only be resumed after 6 to 12 weeks (depending on the muscle correction).
Does health insurance pay for the procedure?
As a rule it is an aesthetic procedure. Only with extreme functional impairment are there rare exceptions. We are a private practice and do not bill health insurers directly.
Is there a risk of thrombosis?
Every operation carries risks. We minimise this one by getting you mobile early, on the day of surgery, and through medical thrombosis prophylaxis.
What happens if I put on weight again after the operation?
Large fluctuations in weight can affect the result and stretch the skin again. We recommend the procedure only once your weight is stable.
Can the scar be lasered later?
Yes, if the scar does not heal optimally, we offer complementary laser treatments at our centre to improve it.
Is financing possible?
Yes, we offer flexible instalment plans over up to 60 months.
